No words today. I have a sore throat with a dry cough but I can show you some pictures of Bath looking even more beautiful than ever due to the recent snowfall. Enjoy!
Most of these great photographs would adapt into very attractive almost minimalist paintings – taking the white paper and making a very small number of marks on it. The penultimate photo above, for example, a few greys and a bit of near black, for the balustrade/terrace and the view of the buildings beyond. Whethjer you leave yourself in, or eliminate yourself from the picture I leave to you!
These were taken a week ago today. We were some of the first people out in the snow. The town was empty of people but full of snow. We had a wonderful time exploring and it wasn’t too cold or too slippery.
Lovely pictures. I’ll have another look at them later on my computer.
fantastic

Like the Victorian postcard effect.
Was that last night, or earlier in the week? Either way, some great material for some paintings.
